The United States has condemned the yesterday’s twin bombing attack in Jos that killed dozens of people and injured scores more.

In a statement made available to Vanguard said, the United States said, “This senseless attack on innocents in Jos’ commercial Terminus district follows on the heels of another bombing attack in Nigeria’s second largest city of Kano on December 10, in which four persons were killed and seven injured when two female suicide bombers attacked the Kantin Kawari Textile Market.

“The United States offers its deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the persons killed and injured.

“The United States remains committed to supporting the people of Nigeria in their struggle to stop the depraved actions of Boko Haram and associated terrorist groups.
