Popular  Nigerian comedian, Ayo ‘AY’ Makun is set to host Peter Obi.
The comedian will be hosting Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), in a live show tonight.
In a social media post, the comedian said the show, to air across his social media pages, will begin at 7:30 pm on January 19.
AY added that the live “question and answer” session with the presidential candidate would help educate the populace about their civic duty.
“Sequel to my open invitation posted here on January 6th concerning a transparent democracy to ensure that all Nigerian citizens are well informed and actively involved in leadership choices and decision-making, I am inviting you to a scheduled live tonight,” AY Makun said.
The presidential election is to hold on February 25. Peter Obi, like other candidates, has been doing campaign rounds.
Obi is contesting against Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), among others.
In June 2022, Psquare, the music duo, declared their support for the LP presidential candidate.
