A female Police Inspector, Endurance Ogene, was on Wednesday assaulted while settling a dispute.
The policewoman is serving at the Enerhen Division in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State,  
It was reported that the unidentified woman also assaulted a commercial tricycle operator, identified as Victor Dickson.
Ogene, was trying to settle the fight between the troublesome woman and Dickson when she was attacked and injured on her face.
According to reports the woman who refused to disclose her name denied assaulting the female police officer.
The woman said she boarded the tricycle from the main market to Enerhen junction and paid one hundred naira for her transportation.
She said the tricycle operator refused to give her complete change in return. This resulted in a serious argument between them until the Policewoman came to the rescue.
She said; “I nor know the woman before oooo. No be me injure her ooo.’’
The woman also stressed that she is ready to go to any length including the court with the policewoman.
The commercial tricycle operator, Dickson on his part said, he conveyed the woman from the main market to Enerhen junction for one hundred and fifty naira, which she agreed to pay.
But on getting to Enerhen junction, he was surprised when the woman started arguing and in the process the woman injured him and the Policewoman who was trying to make peace.
