The 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has been rescheduled for Oct. 6th, by the Lagos State Examinations Board.
The Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Orunsolu Adebayo disclosed this in a signed statement on Wednesday.
Adebayo said the examination earlier scheduled for Sept. 28, had been postponed to Oct. 6th.
The statement said that the resit will still be held in various designated centres across the State.
It was stated that the postponement was necessary so as to accommodate schools, who are yet to register their candidates for the resit examination.
“The Board does not wish to deny the affected candidates the opportunity of taking the examination.''
The Director also urged Principals to adhere to the new date and also ensure that all affected candidates are duly informed.
