Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi and his running mate, Dr Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, on Sunday, visited former Head of State and only Military President of Nigeria, Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babaginda, IBB.
The former Anambra state’s governor who stated this via his official social media handles, said that he and his running mate visited IBB at his home in Minna, Niger State, to have insightful conversations on the state of affairs in Nigeria; the Labour Party presidential aspirant, together with his running mate, also visited another former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar.

He said, “Today, my running mate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed and I visited President Ibrahim Badamosi Babaginda, GCFR, at his home in Minna. He received us very warmly and we had insightful conversations on the state of affairs in our country. We are grateful to IBB for his fatherly welcome and counsel.”

Peter Obi is a leading presidential candidate who has received more supports from young Nigerians and well-meaning individuals within Nigeria and outside the country. 
His major ambitions for Nigerians are to create jobs, boost economy and improve the standard of education If elected as president.
