As the Osun State High Court begins the Governorship election Tribunal sitting on Monday, there is a heavy presence of security operatives in the Court premises.
CEOAFRICA had reported that Governor Gboyega Oyetola is challenging the result of the July 16th Gubernatorial election, announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Meanwhile, Oyetola had requested to transfer the sitting of the Tribunal to Abuja due to security reasons.
But the President of the Appeal Court, Hon Justice Raheem Siyanbola had rejected the request on Friday.
Hon Siyanbola explained that the Security Agencies in the State had assured the Court, of their co-operation and support in enhancing the security of the Tribunal and its sittings.
