Buhari bids farewell to United Nations General Assembly

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, assured World leaders that his regime is committed to deliver a free and fair Electoral process that will usher in a new President in 2023.
Buhari noted that the new face will represent Nigeria at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly come 2023.
Buhari disclosed this on Wednesday, during his last address as President at the 77th session of the UNGA held in New York, USA.
He said; ‘’One of my legacies is a free and fair election in 2023. And you will see a new face here speaking for Nigeria at the 78th UNGA.’’
The President also recalled that he would have first addressed them in 1984 as Military Head of State but had his first opportunity in 2015 when he became the Democratic Elected President of the Country.
Buhari appreciated World leaders who have cooperated with Nigeria, in the efforts to tackle various challenges while highlighting, his government’s efforts to bring peace and stability to the West African sub-region.
