NSCDC commences forensic test on arms bearing personnel in Kogi

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kogi State Commandant, Oyinloye Kayode John has charged arms-bearing personnel of the Corps to be abreast of development in the usage of firearms.
Oyinloye declared this at the commencement of a forensic test for intending arms bearers of the Corps in Lokoja on Tuesday.
The commandant said the forensic test is in compliance with the new rules by the Commandant-General Ahmed Abubakar Audi.
Oyinloye said according to the new rules all Arms Bearing Personnel must embark on psychological assessment and evaluation to fit into the Arms Squad of the Corps.
The commandant said the exercise will also assess the physical and mental fitness of the personnel involved to avoid the unprofessional use of firearms.
The Head of Department Training, Assistant Commandant of Corps, ACC, Fashakin Adebayo,warned the participants to shun indiscipline during and after the exercise as that will determine their success at the end of the training.
