The British High Commission offices in Abuja, Lagos and across Nigeria will be shut on Monday, September 19th in respect to the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Funeral which is to be held in London on Monday.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on the official Twitter page of the Commission on Friday
The Tweet further noted that the UK Visa Application Centres in Lagos and Abuja will be in operation.
It read; “Our British High Commission offices in Abuja, Lagos and across the country will be closed on Monday September 19th, 2022 in observance of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. UK Visa Application Centres in Abuja & Lagos remain open. God Save the King!”
