Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a Prominent Traditional Ruler in Imo state, Eze Jewel Ndenkwo.

The Monarch, who is also a Chief Executive Officer of series of businesses including Udekings Nigeria Limited, was kidnapped in front of one of his companies in Owerri, the state capital.

The victim who is the Traditional Ruler of Isiala Umudi Autonomous Community in the Nkwerre Local Government Area of the state was abducted around 7pm on Friday at the high breed area of Owerri.

It was reported that the Traditional Ruler was kidnapped in front of his office at Tetlow in Owerri and the said abductors of the King are yet to establish contact with his family.

“HRH Eze Jewel Ndenkwo of Udekings Electronics was kidnapped about 7pm on Friday in front of his office at the ever busy Tetlow Road in Owerri.”

The police Spokesperson, Micheal Abattam is yet to respond to an inquiry concerning the kidnap incident.
