A former Member of the House of Representatives, Tayo Sarumi is dead.

Sarumi who represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency between 2003 and 2007 died Friday evening at the age of 75 yrs.

The former Lawmaker succeeded his brother, Hon. Alli Balogun, who represented the constituency between 1999 and 2003 and he was succeeded by Waheed Aderemi Gbede who represented the constituency between 2007 and 2011.

Sources close to the family have said the former lawmaker will be buried on Saturday.
