Labour party is currently trending on twitter even as the followership has moved from 400 to 17.5k within 2 hours.
The party started making waves after the former governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi joined the party on Friday.
It is likely that Obi will be contesting for the post of the president under the party, after dumping the Peoples Democratic Party.
Nigerians who have commended Obi for not insulting nor attacking members of his former party have hailed the former governor for bringing light into his new party.
A twitter user wrote, "we will go from door to door like the Jehovah’s Witnesses, campaigning for Peter Obi of the Labour Party. Am I making sense? and another peron is asking the Labour Party to drop their account number if they don't have money for campaign let us fund Peter Obi's Presidential Campaign
If the People fund the campaign he will give back to the people.
