Doctor Chinelo Megafu, who was aboard the ill-fated train has been laid to rest.

Ms Megafu was buried today at Ikoyi, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.

The young medical doctor was among the victims of Abuja-Kaduna train attack, which she was shot.

Megafu had tweeted during the attack that she had been shot in one of the first messages from victims that conveyed the gravity of their situation.

“I’m on the train. I have been shot. Please pray for me,” she had tweeted.
