SATURDAY- 30^th October, 2021: It was an occasion filled with cheers, laughter, best wishes and congratulatory messages as the Management, Staff and students of Chrisland University gathered at its banquet to celebrate an amiable woman of substance.

CEOAFRICA had earlier reported that the award winning VC added a year to her age on Thursday, 28 October.

The event which was held on Friday at the university auditorium, the Chrisland familythanking God for the special grace given to their Vice Chancellor , Prof Chinedum Peace.

From the smiles on her face, response to pleasantries, greetings as well as her dancing steps as she made her way to the seat amidst praise and worship songs being rendered by the choir to God almighty, one could tell the celebrant was indeed grateful to God for adding another year to her age on earth.

Babalola who could not hide her excitement danced with the choristers when they dished out the popular song ‘Chinedum” by Mercy Chinwo, to mark the day.

The Dean of the College of Art Management and Social Science, Prof. Temidayo Akinbobola, who gave the welcome address and opening remarks described the celebrant as a woman who is worth gathering for and one who has touched the lives of every staff member of the university positively.

In his Bible reading from Psalm 121,Acting bursar of the Institution, Moses Esah rendered short prayers for the celebrant.

The Bishop of Egba Anglican Diocese Rt.Rev.Dr. Emmanuel Oludaisi,who was the spiritual father of the day in his message describe the celebrant as a great mother who loves God.
