THURSDAY- 30th September, 2021: Pharmacist Adewale Oladigbolu (FPSN), has emerged as the new National Chairman of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN).

The election was carried out during the association’s recently held annual national scientific conference and 40th anniversary celebration.

The association’s conference which was held from 30th August to 4th of September, 2021 in the city of Abeokuta, featured important activities that include professional trainings and sensitization on community pharmacy and healthcare related issues, awarding, celebration of leadership and achievements. All in the hold of different dignitaries and personalities from all walks of life.

In an interview with CEOAFRICA, Pharm. Wale who has also been the former chairman of River State ACPN and Pharmaceutical Society of Nigerian (PSN) pledges high objectives for himself and hope to commit himself towards achieving them.

He further expressed that the newly appointed committees to work hard and take the challenges that are to come.

Oladigbolu also commended the immediate past National Chairman of the association, Dr Adekola on the job well done.

In his word “He has done well. He has plotted the affairs of the association very well. We will at those areas that he has done well boast it.”

The association’s annual conference usually features various activities that include professional trainings and sensitization on community pharmacy and healthcare related issues, awarding, celebration of leadership and achievements. All in the hold of different dignitaries and personalities from all walks of life.

This year’s conference featured vaccine training, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) training, networking, patients-pharmacists’ relationship and excursion, among others.
