Chrisland University's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mrs. Chinedum Peace Babalola, FAS, on behalf of the Chancellor/Chairman of BOT, High ChiefDr. Mrs. Winifred Awosika, OON, the Pro-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Ayodeji Olukoju, FNAL, Members of the BOT, Governing Council, Management, Staff and students rejoiced with the former Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Obi on his 60th birthday which he celebrated recently.

The Vice chancellor, in her message said the former Governor is a role model to Nigerian youths going by his success at a very young age in the corporate world and his unprecedented achievements during his tenure as the Executive Governor of Anambra State, which had remained a reference point in Nigeria and the world at large.

"Since you delivered our maiden Convocation Speech, with the theme: 'Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship: A Critical Intersection for Economic Development in Africa,' Our students have resolved to play at the global space and the University community has continued to expand its entrepreneurial journey. We are honoured and privileged to be associated with you." She stated.
