The office and van was commissioned by the wife of the former governor, Chief Mrs Oluwakemi Alao-Akala who represented her husband(Alao-Akala). At the occasion were market men and women,students,butchers association, Okada riders among others.
In his speech at the occasion , former governor of the state,Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala who was represented by his wife Oluwakemi said the operation office and van is a facility set up by the team for Akala 2015 project"which I believe will
serve as support base for us all to meet to exchange ideas and information as we set out on this journey of reclaiming the mandate given to us by the good people of this great state during the 2011 gubernatorial election but which was subverted" .
" Today's epoch making event is another clear indication that our coming back is indeed "Amazing Restoration"as this is the first time ever in history of Oyo State that a team of professionals will publicly come together to throw their support behind the candidature of an aspiring gubernatorial aspirant and work conscientiously toward the realisation of such goal".
He said the major mission of the Akala 2015 project is to come to the aid the suffering masses of this state." By this I mean the common on the street of Ibarapa, the yam seller from Ogbomoso, the market woman in Oyo, the displaced trader in Oje market who are worst hit by the anti-people policies of the APC government in Oyo State.
"We are on a mission to serve and not to rule amongst many other guiding principles we have set out for ourselves.
"The big challenge to us as incoming administration come 2015is to our number one priority the mission to restore that lost confidence".
The coordinator Team Akala, Prince Niran Adeyoju in his speech said Team Akala was conceived to provide a unique platform to actualize and evolve a frame work through which it shall lift Oyo State to greater and glorious height.
He added that was positioned to coordinate, collate, mobilise, and encourage the good people of Oyo State towards returning Akala back as the Governor of Oyo State.
He added that Akala Team was to collaborate , cooperate and identify with the main campaign Team and similar Team all working together to build a ladder of success in Oyo State.
