Tuesday, 22nd June 2021: The heavy downpour in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory Tuesday morning penetrated the entrance of Senate Chamber of the National Assembly.

This occurred before the commencement of plenary.

Cleaners were seen mopping the water so that it will not penetrated the chamber of the Senate.

The water has gradually taken over the Dome of the National Assembly.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari approved N37 billion for the renovation of the National Assembly complex.
