Dr Owosibo counsels Nigerian students on leadership skills

Monday, 31, 2021: The Provost of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Dr. Adekoya Olatunde Owosibo, has counselled Nigerian students to always put their best forward for leadership positions in the country in order to convince the elderly ones that the youths are indeed leaders of tomorrow and that they are ready to take over from them.

Dr Owosibo spoke at the Southwest Leadership summit held at the Dr K.J.  Nwufor auditorium, Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology on Thursday, last week.  

The summit was organized by the National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANS) Zone D, Southwest zone, with Dr. Owosibo as the chief host. .

The theme of the summit was “Strategic students’ leadership: Harnessing potential leadership skills in resolving national issues and challenges.”
The summit attracted students leaders, academics and political leaders were in attendance at the leadership summit.

Comrade Kappo Samuel, the Coordinator of NANS Zone D was the host while other speakers at the summit included former OAO president and students activist, Mr Fredrick Joel Olusegun; Mr Ahmed Abodunrin of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps; and Prof. Adewale Musa-Olomu, the Chief Medical Director of Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
