Saturday, 22 May 2021: As further details about the 11 victims of Friday’s crashed Nigerian Air Force jet continued to emerge, CEOAFRICA gathered that  one of the victims is Flight Lt. Alfred Ayodeji Olufade, who just married a couple of months ago.

Some of his friends have turned into the social media to mourn him. His friend described him as “Our Heroes” in a post on social media.

A friend, Onovwo-Omasoro Ali Ovie, tweeting @OvieNews, says “Rest in Peace Alfred. Flight Lt. AA Olufade just married two months ago. Our Heroes.”

CEOAFRICA reports that Olufade was the co-pilot of Flt Lt Taiwo Olufemi Asaniyi, who also died barely two months after his introduction ahead of his wedding.

Nigeria’s 21st Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and six other top military officers died in the plane crash in Kaduna, on Friday.
