Thursday, 20 May 2021: The family of Primate Dr Ajani Adeogun has announced the final burial rites of the Founder and Spiritual Head, Agbara Adura Evangelical Church, Oke Abetu, Abeokuta, Ogun State, His Eminence, Primate Dr. Gabriel Ajani Adeogun, who passed on to eternal glory at the age of 82.

Primate Adeogun died on Thursday, April 13, 2021 in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

According to a statement by one of his children, Prof. Aina Adeogun, his father would be buried on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 after a funeral service at his residence, Agbara Adura Street, Oke Abetu, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

There will be service of songs in the loving memory of His Eminence Adeogun at the Government House Chapel, Abeokuta on Monday May 24th while the Christian wake keeping service would hold at his residence, Monday evening.

He was survived by children, grandchildren and great grand children among who is Prof. Aina Adeogun, a Professor of toxicology, Zoology Department, Faculty of Science, University of Ibadan.
