The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in akwa ibom have arrested some group of men running a baby factory in the state. the operator of the baby factory was overtly operating the place as a clinic

The Commander of the corps, Mr Pedro Ideba, disclosed this in Uyo. He said that the syndicate were well organized, such that once the young girls give birth; the babies are immediately sold to probable buyers.

He added that over 18 suspects were arrested during a clamp-down on the fake clinic located at Ikot Akpan Abia in Uyo the state capital. Three crying babies were also recovered from them without their mothers.
