Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 11, David Omojola
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 11, David Omojola visited the family of late Alhaji Abdulazeez Arisekola-Alao today at Oluwo-kekere, Ibadan; to identify and commiserate with them over the demise of their father, Alhaji Arisekola-Alao.
The AIG, speaking with CEOAFRICA’s correspondent described the late sage as philanthropy per excellence and a great Nigerian who brought joy and happiness to many homes through his philanthropic activities regardless of ethnicity, region, and religious difference. This according to him, made him (Arisekola) a role model to many who are endeared to him. He concluded that he is a man who will be missed by all. He consoled and urge the family to have faith in God, believing that Him alone can give and take life and that the unparallel good works of their father will definitely speak of his prominence.
Reacting to the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State in August 2014, the AIG strongly affirmed that with the commitment of the IG, the Nigerian Police is ready to face the challenges as it has been demonstrated in the peaceful conduct of the Ekiti State election. Therefore, the Osun State coming election will not be different. In other subsequent elections, the AIG assured that the Nigerian Police under the able leadership of Mohmmed Abubarka will not bring Nigeria down.
