The Alayeluwa Oba Okunade Sijuade, the Oni of ife congratulate his royal majesty, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade, the olubadan of Ibadan land on his centenary birthday celebration that is forth coming and also wish him many more years on earth, saying it is a privilege to celebrate 100 years and not as a common man but as a monarch, he therefore prayed the lord grant him many more years in good health.

 Oni speaking with Ceoafrica correspondence, described, the olubadan as a great achiever, who has done so many good things, a goal getter,hardworking, an educationist, who has also done a lot for the country and because of his loads of experience, Ibadan is lucky to have him as their ruler.

“We are good friends of about seven of us” the Oni said,though we have lost our friends, but thank God myself and the olubadan is still alive, there is no boring moment with him, he complimented him. “it is a great thing that he came into our institution, and it is a greater thing that he decided to become the olubadan of Ibadan land” he said.

 According to Oni, he said the Yoruba people are very lucky to have him, saying, that words cannot express what he thinks about the olubadan, he further beseeched Nigerians, to come together and celebrate with the

olubadan, because he worth to be celebrated.

 “There cannot be 100% success if the government shuns traditional institute” the Oni advised. He said the traditional rulers should be given the opportunity interfere in the country’s affairs, stating the reason that, the traditional rulers knows there people can be of good help to the

government if allowed.
