Police Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Ilobanafor being decorated with her new rank

OYO STATE POLICE COMMAND DECORATES 140 OFFICERS OF THE FORCE WITH NEW RANKS.

NIGERIA (Oyo)-The Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Indabawa, today at the Command’s Headquarter, Eleyele, Ibadan, has decorated 140 men of the force with new ranks.

Speaking shortly after performing the decoration, CP Indabawa urged the newly promoted officers to see their elevation as call to further dedicate themselves to the service of the nation.

Present at the occasion are the General Officer Commanding 2 Division, Nigeria Army, General Abejirin, ably represented by Brigadier General Ilo, Oyo State Sector Commander FRSC, Mr. Ogaga-Oghene, State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Commission, NSCDC, Mr. Shem Obafaiye, representatives of the 2 Division Garrison Commander of the  Air Force Ibadan, Head Operation Burst Commander Airforce Ibadan, Director of state Security Service, , State Comptrollers of Prison, Custom, Immigration.

In his message, the GOC of the Nigerian Army through Brigadier General Ilo lauded the Police force for her transformation in personnel development of their men intellectually and otherwise.

He stated that the pressure of the GOC about the occasion is an indication of the absolute intimacy existing between the force and the Army making Oyo state the most peaceful and safest state.

He further advised those promoted that promotion is from God, through hardwork and loyalty, imploring them to justify the action of the Commissioner of Police and the Commission by carrying out the responsibilities associated with the rank in order to facilitate the next promotion in their carrier.

He congratulated them for the new height attained.

Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, the Police Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Ilobanafor appreciated the Police Service Commission and the Oyo State Command for adding more feathers to their shoulders and assured all of their utmost dedication and loyalty to duty.
