NIGERIA (Kano)-Four persons were sentenced to 84 years imprisonment for armed robbery by the Kano State High Court on Wednesday.

The criminals identified as Monday Joseph, Umar Adamu, Simeon Shele and Mutad Adamu were convicted for robbing A.A. Rano Tudun Wada Filling Station in November, 2012.

It was gathered that during the attack, the robbers attacked the Assistant Manager of the filling station, including some employees of the station and carted away N2.68 million during the operation.

Justice Nura, while delivering his judgement, said the prosecution had convinced the court beyond reasonable doubt on their involvement in perpetuating the crime. He then  explained that each of the convicts would serve 21 years in prison.
