Oyo State government has concluded arrangements for the establishment of additional three new ministries.

The ministries are that of Transportation, Natural Resources and Integrated and Inter-governmental Relations.

This was contained in a letter addressed to the Speaker, Honourable Monsurat Sunmonu. She disclosed during the plenary session of the Assembly that the letter which was received from  the Executive Council, seeks an approval of the bill to create the ministries.

The bill which was presented by the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Akande Oyeniran, scaled through the second reading after deliberations by the lawmakers, while the third reading was adjourned till today.
