2015: Ajimobi warns against violence *Says he'll rule for 8 years

Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi yesterday declared that he will spend eight years in office before anybody can take over, warning those planning to forment trouble in the state to have a rethink or be ready to face the wrath of the law.

The governor while speaking at the 2014 Maulud-Nabir Celebrations at the remembrance Arcade, Agodi Oyo State said, he would allow any person in the name of politics to jeopardize the peace been enjoyed in the state.

Ajimobi who was emphatic publicly about his second term ambition apparently asked other aspirants to wait till after his second term before dreaming to enter the Agodi Government House.

Also speaking, the Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwoso urged Muslims in the country to expose their Children to western and Islamic education.

The Kano state chief Executive who noted the importance of education in empowering people, stressed that education will brighten the future of Nigerian youth and check growing insecurity in the nation.

Governor Kwakwanso who was in Oyo State to attend the meeting of All Progressive Congress (APC) governors, asked Muslims to emulate the behaviour of Mohammed. He urged Governor Abiola Ajimobi to extend development to other parts of the state beyond what is seen in Ibadan.
