If a report coming from South Africa is anything to go by, then the ailing former president of the country Nelson Mandela, would soon be certified healthy by the hospital where he is currently recuperating from lung disease, CEOAFRICA.com gathered.

According to press release from South Africa Presidency, the former president is showing sustained improvement at the hospital.

President Jacob Zuma, at his visit to Mandela on Monday afternoon, assured Madiba of the love and support of all South Africans.

The President also encouraged all South Africans not to relent in their prayers for the anti-apartheid leader.

It would be recalled that the Nobel peace prize winner was admitted last month for recurring lung infection. Last Thursday, when Mandela clocked 95 years, scores of South Africans engaged in community service within and outside the country in honour of his meritorious service. It was the biggest event for South Africa this year.
