As part of the effort to immortalise a worthy ecclesiastic, Reverend Father John Ademola Adio has recently published a book chronicling the life and achievements of Archbishop Emeritus of Ibadan Catholic Archdiocese, Archbishop Felix Alaba Adeosin Job.

The book titled “Life, Faith and Service: Archbishop Felix Alaba Adeosun Job – A True Ecclesiastic of our Time” is a documentation of the life, experiences and achievements of Archbishop Felix Alaba Adeosin Job.

According to the author, Reverend Father Adio, “The book chronicles the life of an interesting and quintessential servant of God from the beginning, extolling his service to his Creator and to his people,” adding that the book celebrates the fiftieth ordination of the Archbishop.

The Archbishop of Lagos, Archbishop Martin stated in the foreword of the book that “one of the most viable reasons for writing the biography of any person is to commit to writing for the benefit of the future generations some of the actions, thoughts and principles of the person.”

He therefore noted that “The biography of an ecclesiastic such as Archbishop Job who has had a variety of points of contacts and a variety of people and institutions has a flavour to it as it would serve not only the immediate persons he has ministered to but also the wider church family, given the roles he has played.”

The 355-page book contains 11 chapters which focused on life and achievements of Archbishop Job from his childhood till present times. The last chapter captures the Archbishop’s memorable moments in pictures.

The book is a second edition, the first of which was published in 2005 by the same author.
