The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 5 Benin, Abubakar Mohammed has blasted members of the National Association of Contractors of Nigeria over frequent building collapses across the country.

He attributed the menace to the conspiracy between contractors and building engineers.

Abubabkar Mohammed stated this in Benin, the Edo State capital Monday when the executive members of the association visited him at the zonal command headquarters in Benin City.

The association’s visit was to seek collaboration between the body and the police in nation building.

He urged the members of the group to always provide the police of useful information about the activities of criminals and shylock contractors amongst them.
