Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has advised the youths in the country to secure their future by pursuing education instead of pursuing money.

According to Ceoafrica, Governor Okorocha gave the advice while addressing Ogboko Youths numbering thousands who paid him solidarity visit in his country home Ogboko yesterday, stressing that he made education free in the state up to the university level so that every child could go to school.

He told the Ogboko youths that he located the Eastern Palm University at Ogboko to encourage them to be interested in education, remarking too that he was attracting the federal government to make education popular in the area.

He told the youths to love one another and shun all forms of crime, stressing that what they needed now was education. He said: “Money will finally come when what is expected to be done first has been done.”

Responding on behalf of the youths, their leader, Mr Harrison Egenukwu said Governor Okorocha had lifted Ogboko in all ramifications, and the youths would continue to be proud of him because he was doing well as the governor of the state.
