Hyacinth Ugwu, at Umulumgbe.

The public office holder, who stressed the need for well-meaning Nigerians to support in the provision of social amenities, explained that the donation was informed by what he described as the desire to bring development to his constituents and also complement the efforts of the state and local governments in providing critical infrastructure to the people.

He urged all present that it has become imperative for individuals to assist government because the demands of the people, especially in terms of the provision of employment and critical infrastructure, need everybody’s attention and involvement, not government alone.

Ekweremadu who commended Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for the peace and developmental efforts by his administration, despite present economic challenges and depleted resources beckoned on public-spirited individuals and corporate bodies to support government in achieving better life for the people.
