Mr Kanjal, who spoke to CEOAfrica’s source the Sun, in Abakaliki, noted that agriculture has become the lifeline for the nation at this period of dwindling oil revenue. The corps member advised young graduates to shift their thinking from seeking unavailable white-collar jobs, adding that graduates rather, should venture into entrepreneurship by acquiring skills related to agriculture. He further pleaded with the government to empower out-going corps members with ‘take-home-grant’ to enable them to be self-reliant and independent after the service year.
