Nigeria’s former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan says it takes great self- sacrifice to concede an election defeat.

According to CEOAFRICA’s source, Daily trust, Jonathan made the comment on his Twitter page while congratulating the 45th elected President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump.

In the short message, the former President saluted the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton for accepting defeat saying he knows what she did takes great sacrifice.

Goodluck Jonathan had himself conceded defeat in the 2015 Presidential elections which saw the emergence of incumbent Muhammadu Buhari.
