Five state governors are billed to grace today’s Federation Cup final, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos. Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in a release, disclosed that the governors of Anambra, Nasarawa, Rivers and Bayelsa are expected at the venue alongside host Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State.

Nnewi –based FC IfeanyiUbah will confront Nasarawa United of Lafia in a match of debutants in the men’s final, while League champions Rivers Angels will clash with Bayelsa Queens in the women’s final. The women’s final is billed to start at 1.00pm, while the men’s final is to begin at 3.30pm. Meanwhile, the Teslim Balogun gates has been thrown open as there would be no gate fees for the event.
