Oke assures riverine communities of rapid development.

Despite the brouhaha surrounding the Ondo’s guber election, the Alliance for Democracy (AD) governorship candidate in the State, Chief Olusola Oke, has promised that if elected, his administration will ensure rapid development of the poverty-stricken riverine communities of the state.

According to CEOAFRICA’s source, Daily trust, He also promised to make the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) more alive to its responsibility of redressing the neglect, suffering and impoverishment associated with the oil rich riverine areas of the state.

Chief Oke, who spoke in Agbadagba Obon and Arogobo communities in Ese Odo Local Government Area of the state, during his campaign tours, said the neglect of the area and its hardship had left the people wallowing in poverty.
