Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari is holding a meeting with the progressive governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Nigeria's capital.
According to CEOAFRICA’s source, Channels, Details of the meeting remained sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
Speculations arose that the governors may have been upset by some of the actions of the President which has been unfavourable with the APC governors. One of such, is the ambassadorial list which many say has not favoured the governors’ choices.
The governors were seen strolling into the presidential villa at about 11:45 am on Monday, for the meeting scheduled to kick off at noon.
The governors present include the chairman of the governors forum Abdulaziz Yari, of Zamfara state, chairman of the progressive governors, Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, Ogun State’s Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, Edo State’s Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, Kano State’s Governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, Borno State’s Governor, Kashim Shettima, Kogi State’s Governor, Yahaya Bello, Benue State’s Governor, Samuel Ortom and Kaduna State’s Governor, Nasiru El Rufai.
