Margaret Emefiele, wife of Godwin Emefiele, governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has been released .

She was abducted on Thursday along the Benin-Agbor road.

Details of how she regained freedom are still unclear.

According to CEOAFRICA  sources, Saharareporters which broke the news of the abduction, had said captors of the woman demanded a ransom of N1.5 billion.

The police had deployed helicopters along the axis, where the incident took place.
