Former Zone14 actress Sma Mathibeli Mbatha recently launched her own restaurant called Unique Cafe, situated in Umhlanga Rocks, Durban.

She ventured into business with her husband, Calvin Mathibeli, who is also a businessman.

Speaking to Drum Magazine, Sma said: “Even as an actor you are a business person, because you freelance and need to budget wisely, so owning a business is not new to me. I have a communications company, a construction company, a security company, as well as a consulting engineering company.”
