Police in Kebbi State have set up what it called eminent persons forum to tackle crime incidents in the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim M. Kabiru, said its objective was to integrate community in the task of effective and efficient policing.

Addressing journalists in Birnin Kebbi, Kabiru said the forum was in line with the initiative of the Acting Inspector General of Police towards transformation of the internal security of the country.
