ENUGU Rangers moved to the second position in the Nigeria Professional Football League after securing a hard fought 1-0 win against MFM FC at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium on Thursday. Tope Olusesi scored the decisive goal 15 minutes from time, nodding home Chisom Egbuchulam’s cross.

The Coal City side now have 54 points, one behind leaders Wikki Tourists. The result revived the Flying Antelopes’ chances of winning the title after last weekend’s 1-0 loss to Nasarawa United. It further deepens MFM relegation woes as the Oluyole Boys remain in 17th place in the table.
