Port Harcourt-based rights Lawyer, Ken Atswuete has been assassinated, DAILY POST can confirm.

The news of the murder of Astwuete has sent cold into the spines of those who know him for his ardent opposition to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers state led by Governor Nyesom Wike.

Ken, as he is fondly called was said to have been killed at his residence‎ in Omuchiorlu in Aluu Community Ikwerre Local Government area of Rivers state.

CEOAFRICA source  gathered that his body was found in the pool of his blood along the road in the community.

The Police in Rivers state is yet to independently confirm the report but a senior officer at the state Police Command said the command is aware that a Lawyer was attacked.

However, the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state has confirmed the killing of the right Lawyer.
