Even though some people might see them as rivals because they lead two of the biggest churches in Nigeria, pastor Enoch Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo are actually friends.

Founders of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel) and The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Bishop David Oyedepo and Pastor Enoch Adeboye, have formed a friendship which has lasted well over 30 years since they both started their ministries.

The preachers who even host their church’s mega events one week apart from each other, have often left people in awe over their similar doctrines. The friends have been known to visit each other’s congregations to teach on different occasions.

Even though Oyedepo often refers to Adeboye as his ‘father in the lord’, their bond appears stronger than that between a regular father and son.

Compared to all the other Nigerian pastors, these two share the closest bond seen between ministers of the gospel.
