Furious Johnny Depp is alleged to have scrawled Billy Bob Thornton's name on a mirror in a mix of blue paint and his own blood after accusing his wife of cheating on him with the actor.

According to his ex Amber Heard, the Pirates of the Caribbean star accidentally cut his fingertip off during a fit of jealous rage while he was high on drink and drugs.

The model claims Depp wrote “Billy Bob” and “Easy Amber” after dumping the injured stump into a pot paint and using it as brush.

The couple were living in Australia at the time and had been renting a home on the Gold Coast as Depp was shooting the latest instalment of the pirate movies.

Heard claims her husband, 53, was so drunk he smashed several bottles and windows and also threw a plastic phone against the wall unit.

She alleges a piece of one of the items cut off a portion of a finger on his right hand.

According to website TMZ Heard also alleges Depp was high on ecstasy at the time.

The paint is said to have been in the house as the 30-year-old model is a keen artist, who spent many hours on several pieces of work while the actor was on set.

Heard previously starred in the movie London Fields with Billy Bob Thornton, who was once married to Angelina Jolie, and claims Depp accused the pair of them of sleeping together.

She refutes the accusation as well as others of infidelity she claims he has made against.
