Christiano Ronaldo  has made his Real Madrid training comeback after Euro 2016 injury woes.

He’s back alongside defender Pepe whom they both made sterling appearances for Portugal during the Euro 2016 victory as they prepare for 2016/17 season under club manager, Zinedine Zidane.

However, the duo were missing in action when Madrid took down Sevilla 3-2 to win the UEFA Super Cup on Tuesday, August 9.

Their first La Liga game will be away to Real Sociedad on Sunday, August 21, 2016.

Recently, the Portuguese forward reportedly offered financial support to hometown Madeira after wildfires caused three deaths and mass evacuations.

On July 11, Portugal defeated EURO 2016 tournament host France 1-0 at the Stade de France to win their first ever title.

Lille striker Eder’s 110th minute strike handed Portugal the trophy after the game ended goalless in 90 minutes before proceeding to extra time.

Ronaldo was replaced by Ricardo Quaresma 25 minutes into the game due to a knee injury picked from a hard tackle by Dimitri Payet.

Meanwhile CR7’s arch-rival Lionel Messi is missing from the 2015/16 UEFA Best Player in Europe shortlist, with the Portugal talisman set to battle his Real Madrid teammate Gareth Bale and Atlético Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann for the award.
