
The Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, has eulogized the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for prioritizing the welfare of the citizenry above other considerations.
Addressing journalists during his inspection tour to some of the ongoing projects in the state, Adewole said that the state government has successfully distinguished itself in clear terms through its pro-masses policies and programmes.
Adewole who was conducted round the project sites by the governor, visited the newly constructed schools within and outside the state capital and applauded Governor Aregbesola’s administration for building greater future for immediate and incoming generations.
Adewole attributed education to economic-driven mechanism, saying the only visible way to banish poverty is to build minds and impart knowledge in the society.
He lauded the state government for championing the cause of the masses regardless of socio-economic, political and religious backgrounds, saying some of the achievements recorded by the present government in all sectors of the economy are manifestation of good governance.
