The Court of Appeal on Tuesday reserved judgement in the suit brought by the Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, challenging his sack from office by the Federal Court of Appeal.
Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja had pronounced Okezie sacked from office.

In his stead, Abang said another member of his party, Uche Ogah, who did not complete the primary of the Peoples Democratic Party in December 2014, should be immediately inaugurated to replace him.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, based on the judgement, equally issued a controversial Certificate of Return to Ogah.

Ikpeazu then went to the Court of Appeal to stop the implementation of the judgement.
