Super Eagles forward Victor Moses said he was disappointed with Nigeria’s 0-1 loss to Egypt in Alexandria on Tuesday which knocked the country out of next year’s African Cup of Nations.
In a twitter post, the West Ham FC player added that he’s in no doubt that the Nigerian senior national team will bounce back as a stronger unit after the disappointment of missing out on the last two continental showpieces.

Really gutted with the result, we gave everything and we will be back stronger, we appreciate Nigeria’s support,” the player wrote on social media.
Moses, skipper John Obi Mikel and Kelechi Iheanacho all returned to their bases in England directly from Alexandria after Tuesday’s game in the Egyptian port city.
Other players who did not travel back to Abuja on the chartered flight and headed back to Europe were Umar Aminu and Azubuike Okechukwu, who both returned to Turkey from Egypt.
The rest of the team returned to a rather quiet welcome at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja early yesterday.
The loss in Alexandria has eliminated Nigeria from next year’s AFCON in Gabon after they also failed to qualify for the 2015 AFCON in Equatorial Guinea.
