Eunisell Group on Wednesday announced the opening of talks with Rivers State Football Club, Rivers United about shirt sponsorship contract renewal.

This is contained in a statement issued by the shirt sponsor, saying that it will put into consideration a number of factors which include the performance of the defunct Sharks FC which the initial agreement was signed with in the last season before a decision is made.

According to the Communications Manager of the company, Mr Kunmi Balogun: “We have started speaking with the management of Rivers United and we should have arrived at a conclusion by the end of next week.

“Although a few things have changed since we signed the initial contract, we will discuss all of these with the club management and identify how to further support them.

It will be recalled that the contract, with an undisclosed value was signed mid 2014/2015 season with then Port Harcourt side Sharks FC, but was transferred to Rivers Utd following the relegation of Sharks last season.
